Web strategist who helps creatives and service providers build websites designed to grow with them. Unlike other designers, I don’t just build for launch—I create strategic, scalable sites that stay valuable long after day one.
OH HEY!! I'M CHANTEL
Let’s be real: if you’ve searched “cost to launch a website,” you’ve probably seen answers that range from $100 to $10,000+. The cost to launch a website can vary wildly depending on your goals, tech needs, and whether you DIY or hire a designer. So in the spirit of transparency, I’m breaking it all down — what you actually need, what’s optional, and what my services cost as of June 2025.
Because launching a website is one of the most important investments you’ll make in your business — and it shouldn’t feel like a guessing game.
At a minimum, you’ll need a domain name (usually around $10–20/year) and a website platform like Showit, Squarespace, or Shopify, which typically runs between $20–40/month. Hosting is included in those platforms unless you’re using WordPress, which might require separate hosting fees.
You’ll also need to account for design, copywriting, and imagery. If you’re DIYing everything, you might use a free template, AI-assisted copy, and free stock photos. You could technically launch for as little as $100–$300 upfront. That’ll get you online — but it won’t guarantee strategy, clarity, or conversions.
When you hire a web designer, you’re not just paying for aesthetics. You’re investing in someone who understands how to create a website that converts.
You’re getting strategic layout, buyer journey design, mobile optimization, brand consistency, on-page SEO, and help tying everything together — from your lead magnet to your contact form. A professional website supports your business, not just your presence.
A 5-page custom Showit or Squarespace site designed and built in one week, with SEO basics, copywriting guidance, and 14 days of post-launch support. Perfect for service-based business owners who want a streamlined, strategic site fast.
This is a deeper, more involved build for businesses with multiple offers or more complex needs. It includes 6+ pages, SEO, conversion-focused copy, blog or product setup, and 3 rounds of revisions.
E-commerce setups tend to be more tech-heavy, with product pages, collections, payment integration, customer flows, and backend automations. If you’re launching a shop on Shopify or adding a shop to your Showit or Squarespace site, we’ll scope out the additional needs and adjust accordingly.
I also offer email marketing setup for clients who need help getting started with platforms like Flodesk or Mailchimp. This includes account setup, basic automation (like welcome sequences), lead magnet delivery, and integration with your site.
You can launch on a small budget. But if your website doesn’t reflect your value, doesn’t show up in search, or leaves clients confused — it may cost more in lost leads than it saves you in dollars.
Hiring a designer is a strategic investment that can save time, elevate your brand, and increase conversions.
If you’re ready for a streamlined, strategic site built with your business goals in mind — I’ve got you.
